For plated jewellery, the warranty covers manufacturing defects only. Natural fading or gradual wear of the plated finish is not considered a manufacturing defect.

WHAT IS COVERED

Our warranty covers confirmed manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.

This may include:

• Faulty clasps or closures
• Defective soldering or structural joints
• Stones becoming loose or falling due to a manufacturing fault
• Structural defects caused by workmanship
• Other manufacturing faults identified following assessment

A warranty claim does not automatically mean that an item will be replaced. Each claim is assessed individually.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage or damage caused by misuse or improper care.

This includes:

• Scratches, dents or surface marks caused by normal wear
• Jewellery that has been bent, crushed, pulled, caught or dropped
• Chains broken through pulling, catching or impact
• Damage caused by perfumes, cosmetics, chemicals or unsuitable cleaning products
• Improper storage or care
• Loss or theft
• Unauthorised repairs, alterations or modifications
• Natural fading or gradual wear of plated finishes

GOLD-PLATED JEWELLERY

Gold plating is a surface finish and may naturally change or fade over time.

Its longevity can vary depending on frequency of wear, skin chemistry, contact with water, perfumes, cosmetics, chemicals and how the jewellery is stored and cared for.

Gradual fading or normal wear of gold plating is not considered a manufacturing defect.

If the plated finish shows unusual peeling, flaking or deterioration that may indicate a manufacturing fault, we may request photographs or inspect the item before determining whether the claim is covered.

HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM

To submit a warranty claim, please email sales@laurre.uk and include:

• Your order number
• A description of the issue
• Clear photographs of the jewellery
• A short video where helpful

Please do not return an item before contacting us and receiving return instructions.

ASSESSMENT & RESOLUTION

We will review the information provided and may request that the jewellery is returned for inspection.

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, LAURRÈ may offer an appropriate repair, replacement, refund or other remedy depending on the nature of the issue and your applicable consumer rights.

LAURRÈ reserves the right to decline a commercial warranty claim where our assessment reasonably indicates that the issue results from normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, improper care, unauthorised alteration or another circumstance excluded under this warranty.
